I believe the consumer must understand how important
receiving a good Loan Estimate right up front is, and how it will
help them compare their options. In the 'Always
Question the Fees on a Loan Estimate'
section of our website, the example we show you was a true situation
for Eric and Genevieve. They were originally dealing with a company
that had a $1,000,000 plus advertising budget, and had 'added fees'
that gave Eric and Genevieve a fairly high Loan Estimate. Eric and
Genevieve decided to go looking for additional quotes. They
contacted me... and I provided them with a Loan Estimate from AGM
Capital, and they really liked what they saw. Long story short, I
closed their home loan for them quickly... and the $6000 they saved
dealing with AGM Capital, did not go into the mega mortgage
company's advertising budget - as it would have.
